About us

The Chair ENDESA Red of Energetic Innovation has as main interest, the promotion of the knowledge and of the research, in terms of innovation and energetic development applied to the sector of the electrical energy, in order to insure, together with other institutions and with the society, a model of application of the efficient and sustainable energetic evolution.

For this purpose, the Center of Technological Innovation in Static Converters and Activations, CITCEA, of the UPC, has been trusted for the extended experience given in the research and in the teaching, related to the electrical systems of power through the ETSEIB, as in interacting with the different implied social agents in guaranteeing the energetic sustainability of our society.

In this way, a long-term collaboration in activities of R+D+I, transfer of the results of the research and scientific popularization, is formalized with the energetic innovation in the electrical sector and it is advanced together in the attainment of these goals.

Objectives

The basic goal is to promote the knowledge and the research in subjects of energetic innovation applied to the sector of the electrical energy in order to insure, together with other institutions and the rest of the society, a model of sustainable energetic evolution.

The fulfillment of this basic goal entails having obtained other secondary goals:

• Technological and social excellence in the system of distribution of the electrical energy of Endesa.
• Involving to the administration, institutions, associations, investigators, customers, suppliers and the other social agents in specifying towards that it is wanted by model of relationship among the system of electrical distribution, the territory and the society to evolve.
• That the diffusion of the activities of the Chair Endesa allows that Endesa is viewed by the society as the interested main one in promoting the good practices in the field of the distribution of electrical energy and that, as such, acts as engine of the technological innovation in the field of the electrical energy.
• This diffusion of the interest of Endesa to promote the technological and social excellence in the field of the distribution of electrical energy has to generate a climate of I talk and collaboration with the administration and the society.
